The FireScope concept was born as a result of the frustrations of IT Operations professionals. Frustration with the growing complexity of IT environments. Frustration with trying to make multiple, disparate systems work together. Frustration with trying to form a comprehensive understanding of the current security, availability, performance and compliance conditions of the entire infrastructure. There had to be a way to make life simpler and easier.
There is. The FireScope Business Service Management Solution offers organizations a single solution that provides a real-time view of the health of IT operations by collecting and processing security, performance and availability data from nearly any application, database, server, router, security point solution or other networked device. In addition, FireScope entails numerous productivity components such as a job scheduler, collaboration elements and application aggregation.
Harnessing the power of open source, FireScope was able to leap from zero to 60 and produce a deliverable product in record time and enter it into the market in November 2006, considerably faster than any traditional development process. This also ensures that FireScope clients gain the experience of thousands of developers, hundreds of thousands of hours of testing, a never-ending supply of new features and updates – all at considerably less cost than traditional enterprise management solutions.

Using the lessons learned from being on the consumer side of enterprise software, every layer of the organization and solution is designed to focus on simplicity and a rewarding customer experience. The product itself is shipped in an appliance model to ensure rapid deployment and dependability. The sales process is straight forward and devoid of hidden fees and confusing contracts.
