Steven Cotton, CEO

Steven Cotton has worked with Lantronix, NASDAQ (LTRX) M2 Automotive and Panda as CFO and COO while raising 100+ million for each company. He is on the board of directors for several businesses and technology firms and has experience working overseas with channel and OEM partners. Mr. Cotton was formerly working with TDi as CEO to provide the industry's best enterprise application and device management solutions. TDi experienced an increase under Mr. Cotton's vision and leadership. Mr. Cotton is an expert in security, compliance issues and best practices for business service management.

Mark Lynd, President

Mark previously served as Global CTO at Hudson Advisors in Dallas, TX, Additionally, Mark has served in various senior management and technical roles for companies such as Metromedia, Perot Systems, Amerada Hess, Vectrix and GTE. He has over 18 years of experience in information technology and assurance. He has provided technology and operations due-diligence consulting for numerous equity groups and raised over 45 million dollars for various ventures.

Mark holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Tulsa, along with industry certifications such as the CISSP, ISSAP, ISSMP, PMP and CEH. He was named an Ernst & Young’s "Entrepreneur of Year – SW Region" Finalist, and one of D Magazine’s Internet Top 50 Professionals. He presented the Doak Walker Award on ESPN. Mark currently serves on several corporate boards. and previously served on the board of directors for SMU’s Cox School of Business and others. Mark served honorably in the United States Army’s 3rd Ranger Battalion, 2/187th Airborne, and the 82d Airborne Division

Kevin Johnson, Executive Vice President

Before joining FireScope, Kevin worked at Siebel Systems where he was a member of Siebel’s Executive Committee and served as the head of Sales and General Manager of Siebel’s European operations, based in London England. Kevin has also served as the Senior Vice President Business Development, Vice President, Legal Affairs and Chair of the Siebel Pricing Committee, which was responsible for establishing, reviewing and approving the deal structure and packaging and pricing of all license transactions. As Siebel’s chief legal officer, Kevin helped CEO and founder Tom Siebel take Siebel Systems public in June 1996. Prior to Siebel, he held various management and legal positions in Gupta Corporation, NETg and National Education Corporation. Kevin was a litigation associate with the law firm of Schramm & Raddue in Santa Barbara California. Kevin also served as Atrari Inc.’s first law clerk while attending the University of Santa Clara School of Law where he earned his law degree. Kevin also attended the University of California at Davis where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Agricultural Economics.
